Now onto the weekend update! I had a little accident on Thursday evening. I took the dogs for a run outside and fell hard on the sidewalk. :( I have a very gross/bloody knee (I'll spare y'all the picture) and pain in my calf. I went to the doctor on Friday and learned that I strained a muscle in my calf, so it was a pretty quiet weekend for us.
a) lots of knee/calf icing
b) Axel joined me on my trip to my parent's house
c) well deserved mani.. loving my mint nails!
d) fancy new house (no, we're not moving)... side note: I LOVE looking at new houses
e) playing around in Pier One
f) how I spent most of my Sunday

ReplyDeleteOh, gosh! I hate that you fell. That's one thing I don't miss from childhood..scraping my knees. That hurts like crazy! Hope your knee and sprained muscle feels better soon!

ReplyDeleteOh no, you poor thing!!! Feel better! This sounds like something that would happen to me...I am not the most coordinated person who ever lived!! ;) I used to work in the homebuilding industry and know what ya mean about just looking at pretty houses!

ReplyDeleteI had a very similar accident years ago when I first got my puppy! Long story short, I fell hard into a bridge ledge, sliced my leg wide open, falling into the fetal position on the ground. Peanut (my dog) was not on a leash and a new puppy so she was running around like a crazy chicken as I laid on the ground unable to move, without a cell phone, crying hysterically, for 30 minutes before a nice stranger collected both my puppy and me and helped me home, where my roommate then had to take me to the hospital. Talk about a HOT MESS. ;)
